MIAMI (Reuters) ? Florida citrus growers reported damage from subfreezing temperatures to some orange groves for the second consecutive day on Thursday after overnight temperatures dropped to dangerous lows in parts of the citrus belt.
Florida Citrus Mutual, the state's leading growers association, said temperatures fell to the mid or low 20s in some areas although durations were fortunately short.
